This service allows employers to recruit new employees from inside or outside the UAE to work in their establishments. The work permit is issued after the labor offer is signed and is the first step before applying for a residency visa. The establishment must have an active MOHRE file, and the position must match the company activity.
Types of Work Permits:
Once the work permit expires, the employer can renew it to maintain legal employment. It is also possible to amend permit data such as job title, contract duration, or salary upon official change.
A mandatory service to draft and authenticate the labor contract between the company and the worker via MOHRE’s online portal. It includes salary, duties, accommodation, leave policy, and working hours. The work permit is not finalized without this contract.
Work permit cancellation occurs at the end of the employment relationship (resignation, termination, or transfer). It is a prerequisite for canceling the residency visa or transferring the worker. A signed cancellation form is required.
This service opens a new company file with MOHRE, enabling the business to request work permits and manage employee matters. A valid trade license and authorized signatories are required.
A service for workers or employers to file complaints regarding contractual issues such as unpaid wages, working hours, leave, or unfair dismissal. MOHRE first attempts an amicable settlement; if unresolved, the case is referred to the labor court.
This permit is issued for students or interns wishing to train at a licensed establishment for a limited period. Ideal for educational institutions and university students. It defines the training period and responsibilities but does not grant permanent employment rights
